“Kiwanda Tapestry”

Location: Pacific City, Oregon (2019)

Sunset produced pink and purple in the clouds above Haystack Rock creating a textured pattern.

Almost as if a storm is approaching, the sunset in this photograph both produces light as well as signals the beginning of darkness.

What was supposed to be a relatively mild evening became a gorgeous show – enhanced by the near perfect reflection in the sand.
