“Malibu Sunset”

Location: Malibu, California (2018)

A stretch of beach in Malibu, California is bathed in the last light of the day.

This was an unplanned shot that occurred while I was walking along Carbon Beach in Malibu, California.

This beach is only accessible through a public access walkway that’s nestled in between expensive beachside properties. It’s also got a curfew.

(That’s something I’m not used to experiencing as an Oregonian. All of our coast is public access and sans curfew.)

With curfew fast approaching at sunset, I was one of the few people still on the beach.
