“Red Rock Canyon”

A retreating storm breaks through the clouds to allow morning sunlight to shine onto the walls of this red rock canyon outside of Las Vegas, Nevada.

The wind was strong as the billowing clouds sailed through the sky. Tropical Storm Sergio brought rain and thunderstorms the night before.

A change of scenery: the wild weather was moving on and leaving behind the sun, blue skies, and the heat that typify the desert.
